Beads of Friendship Cards

Today, I’m creating Beads of Friendship Cards using the New Beads of Friendship collection from Spellbinders. I love how well the different parts of this collection work together. I even use the different dies from the Bestie Beaded bracelets die set to create your own confetti or shaker bits for my third card which uses the Heart hands die set to create a shaker element. Ad

Visual Supply List below.

All three cards created use the New Heart Hands die set from Spellbinders.

For the first card, I used the Winter Roses Background press plate and coordinating layering stencil. Most of the press plate was pressed without ink. Black betterpress ink was used on the cluster of Roses and the coordinating Layering stencil was used to colour it in with Distress ink pads in Kitsch Flamingo, Saltwater Taffy and Salvaged Patina. The Bestie Alphabet Beads press plate & die set was used on several colours os Spellbinders cardstock before being die cut. The Bestie Beaded Bracelet was used to die cut the bracelet out of Pearl gold cardstock as well as the heart shaped beads. The sentiment was added to the bracelet die cuts and the card was assembled. Glossy accents were added to the beads for dimension & shine.

The Background for the second card was created with the Bestie Sentiment Press plate & die set in a similar way to card 1 using the Black Betterpress ink to ink one sentiment only. The plate was then shifted to press the rest of the background. The background is ink blended using the same colour distress inks as card 1 and the card is assembled placing the Heart hands die cuts around the sentiment. Gold and coloured beads are added to the bracelets and Stickles are added over the coloured beads for extra sparkle.

The third card uses the Heart Hands die cut to create a shaker element. The shadow is cut multiple times out of Black cardstock and layered to create dimension for the shaker. Acetate is used behind the top die cut for the window. Shaker bits were created using the dies from the Bestie Beaded Bracelet die set using coloured cardstock and white cardstock with Gold ink on both sides of it. The background of the card is embossed with the Fresh Picked Floral Frame embossing folder and it is inked lightly with Gold Ink before assembling the card. The card is finished off with a Gold Heat embossed sentiment from the Bestie Clear stamp set
