Today, I’m Baking up Cards with die cuts using Spellbinders Make it & Bake it collection. This is such a fun Baking themed collection that can be used for SO much more than cards. They would be fantastic for Scrapbook layouts and I think they’s be adorable for a Baking themed mini Album! Ad

Each card created has sentiments from the Sugared Expressions stamp set.
The first card uses the Confection Companions 3D embossing folder. Orchid cardstock is ink blended with Seedless preserves distress ink to create an Ombre look before taping into the embossing folder and inking the bakcground with Walnut stain distress ink. Gold ink from Lisa Horton Crafts is used to ink the mattes as well as for the splatter in the background. The senitment is heat embossed with Gold embossing powder.


The second card uses the Cool it cookie Rack die set. The die cuts and embossed background are lightly inked with distress ink before assembling the card. The top of the cookies are finished off with a touch of stardust stickles for an additional sparkle.
The third card is create using the Made with love die set. The die cuts are set against an oval background created using the Infinity ovals die set from Hero Arts. The hearts on the oven mitts are finished with stickles and Glossy accents are added to the cherry on the cupcake to add gloss & dimension.


The fourth card uses the Measure Mates set fo create a simple card with an embossed background. The sentiment was stamped on the background before embossing above and below the sentiment.
The fifth card uses the Magic mix set. The batter in the bowl and on the mixer is finished off with Glossy accents for Gloss and dimension and several pieces are die cut from Matte finish cardstock from the treasured cardstock pack for an extra metallic touch.


The sixth card is greated with the Fluff Frost and Roll set. The rolling pin, background and icing bag were lightly ink blended around the edges for additional visual dimension before assembly.
