Autumn Falling Leaves Cards

Autumn Falling Leaves Cards

Today, I’m creating Autumn Falling Leaves Cards using the New Falling Leaves Collection from Spellbinders. These cards combine Heat Embossed backgrounds with Interference ink pads using Betterpress, Embossed backgrounds and die cuts. Ad

I love the look of The Cloud 9 interference inks ink these cards with the Weathered Wood Distress embossing glaze backgrounds. All Cards are finished off with Sentiments from the All seasons Autumn and Summer Press plate & die sets.

The first card uses the Autumn Rain Press Plate and Layer stencil set. The Press plate is inked with a Versamark pad on Betterpress cardstock before being coloured using the Layering stencil. Cloud 9 interference pads in Sweet Treat, Sapphire Gold and Golden Sun were used to colour the Umbrella and Maple Leaves. To take advantage of the interference properties in the Cloud 9 ink pads, Black distress ink is used to shade areas of the image before using the Interference inks.

The Second card is created with the Oak Forest 3D Embossing folder using Versamark ink on the background to heat emboss with Weathered wood Embossing glaze before inking the Acorns and Oak Leaves. The Heat embossed background not only gives colour but also resists the Interference inks when colouring the raised embossed image. The Interference Pads used for this card are Royal Truffle, Golden Sun, Warm Chestnut and Sweet Treat. The Card is finished off with an Acorn Trio Wax Seal using the Wax Seal Starter Kit and Christmas Must have Wax Mix.

The laste card uses the Pumpkin Trio Wax Seal created with the Wax Seal starter Kit and Christmas Must have Wax mix along with Pumpkin die cuts from the Faux Embroidered Pumpkins die set. The Pumpkins were coloured with Cloud 9 interference pads in Golden Sun and Pumpkin Spice. To enhance the Pumpkins on the Wax Seal, they were coloured with a Gold Posca pen.
