Sewing Themed cards

Today, I’m sharing Sewing Themed cards with die cut & press plate techniques using the New Spellbinders’s Buttons & Keepsakes collection. The Background press plate is nice and large and will work for 5″ x 7″ as well as 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ cards and has such an elegant result. Ad

The first two cards use foiled background created with the Vintage Atelier press plate and Matte gold foil. The first background is foiled on Oceanside cardstock and the second on Hammermill cardstock and ink blended with Worn Lipstick and Uncharted Mariner distress ink. Both are Matted with the solid hot foiled backgrounds and finished off with Solid hot foiled sentiments from the Heirloom words press plate & die set.

The first background uses the Ribbon & Seams Embossing folder with Oceanside cardstock inked in gold ink. The second background uses the Haberdashery Buttons Embossing folder with gold ink. The dress on the second card is stencilled with versamark ink using the Cascading dots stencil and heat embossed in gold embossing powder. Both cards are finished with solid hot foiled sentiments.
