Before creating cards, The Weekender kit stamp set was used to heat emboss many sentiments with Gold embossing powder and die cut with the coordinating die set.

The first card uses the Bird of Paradise dies with a Variety of cardstock colours to create a unique colour palette. The die cuts are ink blended with interference inks in Mermaid Lagoon and Fruit salad to add colour as well as beautiful shimmer. Once assembled, stickles are added to the blue petals for additional sparkle.

The second card uses the Huey Chameleon die set. Huey is created using Waterfall, Fawn and Dahlia cardstock and is ink blended with Mermaid lagoon, Milk Chocolate Roses and Fruit salad interference inks before assembling. The Greenery is die cut from Peridot, Rainforest and Fern cardstock from the Tiki Toucan die set. Those die cuts are ink blended with Summer Garden interference ink. The background is created using the layering stencil set in the Weekender kit. It is inked with various distress inks for a light patterned background. Once the card is assembled, Glossy accents are added to Hueys eye and Stickles are added to the Flower centres.

The third card card is created using the Tiki Toucan die set with Oceanside, Dahlia & Blush cardstock. The die cuts are ink blended with teal Twist and Fruit Salad interference inks. The background is embossed using the embossing folder in the kit. WAterfall cardstock is used and taped inside the embossing folder. The folder is inked with Crushed Olice distress ink before closing and embossing. Repeat the process several times till desired effect is achieved. The card is finished off with die cut greenery and flowers. Glossy accents are added to the Toucans eye adn Stickles are added to tht Flower centres.

The fourth card uses the Rainforest Falls and Jungle cat die sets to create a 5″ x 7″ Shadowbox card. The die cuts are inked and assembled first before creating the card base. The Rainforest is assembled on top of a 4 3/4″ x 6 3/4″ piece of Oceanside cardstock. Interference inks are added to the sky for subtle shimmer. The card base is created using two 7″ x 7″ pieces of white cardstock. Both cardstock squares are scored at 6″ & 6 1/2″ on two opposite sides. The large Playful Stitched panels die set is used to die cut the Window on the card front piece. The scored sides are folded like a Z towards the back on the front panel and towards the front on the back panel. The assembled Rainforest falls background is glued to the inside of the card back before using score tape to tape the two outer 1/2″ scored sides on the card to complete the shadowbox card base. The Assembled Jungle cat is added to the bottom right on the front of the card and greenery from the Tiki Toucan die set is added around the cat, inside the card twoards the bottom left and on the bottom left front. A seniment is added to the top front of the card as well as the bottom front. Glossy Accents are added to the cat eyes and nose and stickles are added to the flower centres.
