The Birds and sentiment from the Birds of a Feather stamp set are stamped and Heat embossed on Distress watercolor cardstock before watercolouring the images using Interference ink pads in Summer Garden, Pink Champagne, Lemon Candy, Crushed Velvet and Pumpkin Spice. Once dry the image is also stamped onto printer paper and quickly fussy cut to lay over the birds to protect them from the splatter on the background. That splatter is created using Raven Splatter effects. The card base and layers are created using the Essential Arches die set. The matte is inked with Pink Champagne interference ink and the image piece is ink blended with Uncharted Mariner distress ink around the edges.
