Die Cut Wedding card

Die Cut Wedding card

Today, I’m sharing a Die Cut Wedding card using the Spellbinders Die and Betterpress of the Month. I’m pairing these two clubs with a couple other recently released sets to create a fun and adorable card perfect for a Wedding or Bridal shower! Ad

Visual Supply list below.

The background for the card is created first using the I’d pick You Betterpress of the Month in the Betterpress system with Hammermill cardstock and Heat embossing the image and sentiments with Silver embossing powder before ink blending the background with distress ink.

The die cut pieces for the owl were lightly ink blended with Distress ink and the flowers and Hearts were ink blended with Natural Pearl ink from Lisa Horton Crafts for beautiful shimmer. The veil is created using one of the Ghosts from the Boo crew die set with shimmery Vellum from the Coloured vellum pack from Pear Blossom Press.

The die cuts are assembled with extra detail added by die cutting the top hat out of Black mirror cardstock from the Onyx Treasured cardstock pack. The band on the hat and bowtie are die cut from Matte cardstock from the Aquamarine Treasured cardstock pack. Extra texture, shine and sparkle is added using Stickles in the flower centres and Glossy Accents on the Owl eyes.
