Butterfly Card Making

Butterfly Card Making

Today, I’m sharing Butterfly Card Making using inks & dies from Lisa Horton Crafts. The beautiful Interference and Colourshift inks are paired with Vellum to create shimmery but transluscent wings with layers! Ad

Visual Supply list below.

The first card is created using Interference inks in Opal Blush, Pink Champagne and Milk Chocolate Roses on Vellum. The butterfly is assembled hiding the Bearly art glue beneath the Butterfly body and under the decorative dots on the wing layers. After assembly stickles are added to the upperside of the dots hiding the glue and adding sparkle. This card uses the Leafy flourish embossing folder for the background.

The second card uses Colour shift inks in Lilac Meadow, Fruit Punch and Peanut Glow on the vellum. This butter is a side profil but is assembled the same way as the Butterfly for the first card. The background is embossed with the Wildflowers embossing folder and inked with the Garden Sage Matte blending pad for added colour.

The third card is created with vellum from the colored vellum pack and assembled the same as the first two cards. Shimmer is added to the Meadow of Sweet Peas embossed background using the Natural Pearl pad and a touch of ink blending around the edges using the Gold ink pad to coordinate with the Butterfly.
