The different card elements were created using several different die sets. Mickey is created using the Steamboat Willie Duo die set. His Santa hat and scarf are created using the Classic Mouse Christmas Embellishments die set. The Hat is cut from red velvet cardstock and the hat trim & pom pom is cut from White glitter cardstock for a little sparkle. The Wreath is created from the Classic Mouse Holiday Wreath die set. The Wreath is cut from Fern Cardstock and the Bow is cut from Mirror and Matte metallic cardstock from the Ruby treasured cardstock pack.

The backgroud for the card has added pattern using the Petite Criss Cross press plate with Betterpress cardstock and Lost shadow distress ink. The wreath die is used to cut an opening in that back. Acetate is used to cover the opening and the wreath die cut as well as the centre wall piece is glued to the acetate in the opening. The Bow is added to the wreath.

Once the front of the card is completed, the Halo lights from Pear Blossom Press are adhered to the back using 1/4″ Scor tape. Foam tape is also added to the back to add dimension to accomodate the battery pack from the lights. A Merry & Bright sentiment is added to the front of the card and the Pear Blossom Press stamp set is used to stamp “press” on the Mickey hand showing the recipient where to press to light up the wreath.
