The City Holiday Light Up Card is created using the City Holiday die set from Spellbinders. The building front is Embossed with the Brick by Brick Embossing folder. The Embossing folder is inked with versamark ink to apply the ink in the grout lines of the brick pattern. Lost Shadow distress glaze is poured over, the excess is tapped off and the Embossing glaze is heated with an embossing tool. The surface is then lightly ink blended with Weathered wood and Chipped Sapphire distress ink.

A piece of Acetate is adhered to the back using 1/4″ Scor tape. The detail die cut pieces are added to the Building front using Bearly Art glue in a Fine tipped bottle. Once dry, the EZ lights are added to the back of the Building front piece. Best Ever Craft tape is used to keep the wires from the light secure.

Foam tape is added between the window lines to add dimension to the piece so that there isnt a bulge where the battery pack is.
A card base is created using two pieces of cardstock cut to 3 1/2″ x 5 1/8″. One of the pieces is scored at the 4 1/2″ mark. The upper flap is glued to the other piece of cardstock to create thecard base. The Building front is glued to that card base. “Push here” fron the Pear Blossom Press stamp set is stamped onto a piece of Indigo cardstock using White Opaque ink. That piece is trimmed down and adhered to the puilding door right above the button that turns on the lights.
