Before creating any of the cards, I did my Hot foiling using the Glimmer system with Aura foil on Hammermill cardstock. I used the Registration templates for the first two cards to make sure to place the plates properly. I had the plate on the template with the pattern on the plate facing up. On the straightest side of the plate I put Best ever craft tape with the sticky side facing up. I placed a piece of Hammermill cardstock on the template making sure the tape stuck to the cardstock. I then added a piece of glimmer foil between the plate of the cardstock with the pretty side facing the plate. After foiling I set them aside to add the rest of the press plate images using the betterpress. The images were also solid hot foiled and the solid hot foiled ornament was die cut with the coordinating die set. Masking magic sheets were die cut with the Bird & ornament dies to create masks.

With the foiling done, I used the betterpress system with the Registration template to complete the Merry, Merry, Merry Bird image. The Masking Magic masks were used to colour the bird and ornament and then the inside pieces were used to mask the bird & ormnament to Ink blend the background. The card is assembled and the sentiment is used to heat emboss it with gold embossing powder and then die cut. The images were finished off with a little stickles and glowwy accents for extra texture.

The second card is created with the Cheer & Good Tidings press plate & die set. The foiled background was ink blended with distress inks to look like the Northern lights. The deer and sentiment were heat embossed with gold embossing powder before watercolouring the deer with distress inks. The coordinating dies are then used for the deer and sentiments before assembling the card.

The background of the third card is embossed with the Stars & Fronds frame embossing folder before trimming and ink blending. The Holly & berries plates from the Starry Merry Christmas plate set was inked with the ink pads from the Happy Betterpress ink set before die cutting and adding to the tip of the ornament. The Merry Christmas foiled & die cut sentiment were added to the inside of the card.
