Due to the large size of the clock die cut, the final size of these cards are 5″ x 7″ with the coloured matte cut to 4 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ and the inner pressed piece trimmed to 3 1/2″ x 5 1/2″.
Before creating any cards, the Cuckoo Cottage Sentiments press plate & die set was used in the Betterpress system to Heat Emboss the Sentiments on Hammermill cardstock with Rose Gold and Silver Embossing powder before die cutting.
The first card was created with the Cuckoo Cottage die set in various Neutral cardstock colours. Accent pieces like the clock hands, weights and pendulum were die cut out of Matte Rose Gold cardstock from the Rose Gold Treasured cardstock pack. To create the interactive swinging pendulum, round foam pop dots were used. The light coloured matt was pressed with the Petite Criss Cross press plate for a little subtle texture. The card is finished off with one of the Rose Gold Embossed sentiments.
The second card is created with the Harvest Time companion die as well as the Cuckoo Clock die set. The Metalic accent pieces on this card were also cut from Matte Rose gold cardstock. This card is also finished off with a Rose Gold embossed sentiment. The light matt on this card was pressed with the Buffalo Plaid press plate for subtle texture.
The third card is created with the Chiming Christmas die set as well as the Cuckoo clock die set. The metallic pieces on this card were die cut from Silver Matte cardstock from the Silver treasured cardstock pack. Extra sparkle was added to this card by using the glitter cardstock from the Antique white Treasured cardstock pack for the snow and snowman. The light matt on this card was pressed with the Snowfall shimmer press plate for subtle texture. This card is finished off with one of the Silver Embossed sentiments.
