Today, I’m sharing Magical Fall cards using the Autumn Archives collection from Spellbinders. This is a great collection perfect for Fall themed creations. The Non-traditional colour palette for these cards were inspired by two new Dina Wakley Betterpress ink sets. These sets are called Dinas Fave and Happy and were used with the Autumn sentiments press plate set to create the sentiments for the cards.
Before creating any cards, unique backgrounds were created using Mixed media Heavystock with Lindys magicals pigments powders from the Autumn Leaves and Victorian Bouquet sets. Those backgrounds were left to dry completely overnight before die cutting.
The first two cards were created with the Changing trees die set using both the Magicals backgrounds and solid cardstock for a contrast of textures.
The third and fourth cards were created with the Falling Leaves die sets using both the Magicals cardstock and solid cardstock. The backgrounds of both card were embossed with the Oak Forest 3D embossing folder for added texture.
