Wonderland collection cards

Today, I’m sharing Wonderland collection cards using the New Wonderland collection from Spellbinders. There are many different techniques used to create and colour the cards as well as extra texture, sparkle & shine added. Ad

Before creating any cards, all of the press plates were foiled with Prism Glimmer foil on Hammermill cardstock using the Glimmer system. Then the Snowfall Shimmer plate was used in the Betterpress system to heat emboss Silver snowflakes on Hot press watercolor cardstock. The Twinkle bright tree was used to press the tree with Black stazon ink and the sentiment with silver embossing powder. Finally the Merry Messages plate was heat embossed with silver EP on Hammermill cardstock before die cutting all of the sentiments.

The first tree card was created with the foiled tree image. It is coloured with copic markers before using Glossy accents on the ornaments and stickles on the star for a little extra sparkle & shine.

The simple snowflake card was created with the heat embossed snowflakes background. It is sprayed with Blue shimmer metallic spray and left to dry. Once dry, the edges are ink blended with Chipped sapphire distress ink. One of the embossed sentiments is added to the card and several snowflakes are finished off with an opal gems.

The last tree card was coloured with primacolor pencils and blended with Gamsol. Extra dimension was added to the tree by using Silver Nuvo drops.

The magi card was created using the 3 magi die set. The background is created using the snowflake press plate embossed in the platinum 6 machine. Once assembled, a simple foiled sentiment finishes off the card.

The Snowmen card is create with the Snow notes die set. The background is the foiled snowflakes with a little added ink blending. This card is finished off with a Fa la la la la sentiment from that same die set.

The reindeer card also uses the snow notes die set. The carrots were cut out of white cardstock and used to create the teeth. The noses were die cut using the snowmen die set concentrating on the “coal” pieces with colours perfect for the noses. The ears and antlers were die cut out of the Cozy Toes slippers die set. The reigndeer noses are finished off with some glossy accents for dimension.
