Today, I’m sharing Classic Mouse Cards using the New Simple Stories Classic Mouse Collection with Spellbinders. I used this collection to create some bright and fun cards but it would also work very well for scrapbook pages! Ad

The first card uses the Steamboat Willie Press plate and die set on watercolor cardstock. It is heat embossed with black embossing powder and watercolored with Frayed Burlap distress refill. To add extra texture, Transparent gloss texture paste is used on the water with a little microfine glitteron the top of the water. The stamped sentiment for this card and several others were created using the Cruisin by Sentiments stamp & die set.
The next 4 cards use a much brighter colour palette of Raven, Poppy, Tuscan, Rainforest, Classic White and Chiffon cardstock with a background of windy cardstock. The Mickey and Miney die cuts were created with the Steamboat Willie duo die set with the die cut sentiments created using the Classic Mouse Alphabet and Numbers sets.
The second card includes the poloroid frame die cut from the Memory Frames die set.
The fourth card is created using the Flags & Banners die set with an extra sentiment added from the the Cruising by sentiments set.
Stickles were added to some of the card elements for a little extra sparkle.
