Shaped Lighthouse card

Today, I’m sharing a Shaped Lighthouse card with Rocking Boat using several Spellbinders June 2025 Clubs. I’m combining the LArge die , Stencil, and Clear Stamp of the month along with the June Caboodle item to create a Card with a light-up light house and Rocking boat. Ad

Visual Supply list below.

The card base and background is created using the Essentail arches die set. The Background is stencilled using the Rolling Tide Layering stencil using several distres inks. The waves were also stencilled with Under the Sea Colour shift ink for a little shimmer. Stickles were used on the top of the waves for some sparkle.

While drying, the Lighthouse and wave is assembled from the Sailor’s Light Large die of the month and the Boat from the Set Sail caboodle item is also assembled.

Once the background is dry, the Everlasting circles die set is used to create a hole to shine the light for the light house and the same die us used for the boat rocking mechanism. The light ray die is also used on the background. Vellum is used to cover the openings for the light house and light ray and a yellow copic is used to colour the vellum. A one Light from PEar Blossom press is used to light the lighthouse and attached to the back with Scor tape. The boat rocking mechanism is created with a foam pop-dot, a strip of acetate and a penny for weight. Foam tape is added to the back to allow room for the one light and boat mechanism.

A sentiment from the Ancor’s away Clear stamp of the month set is stamped on the inside of the card using a Misti and Hickory smoke distress ink.
