Neon Glossy Gel Paste

Today, I’m Taking Neon Glossy Gel Paste to the next level. I’m using those Neon pastes with stencils, dies & embossing folder but changing the look of those Neon pastes to make them sparkle & shine! Ad

Visual supply list below.

The first card is created using the Leafy flourish layering stencil and coordinating Embossing folder. The first layers of the stencil are inked with Cloud 9 MAtt Blending ink pads in Surf’s up, Margarita, Pina Colada, Sugar candy, Spiced plum & Anthracite. Before stencilling the last layer in Neon gel pastes in Summer sky, Apple, Lemon peel, Blossom and Lilac, each one is mixed with microfine glitter using palette knives. All of the gel pastes are used on the last layer allowing them to blend through the stenicl. Once stencilled, set aside to dry the gel paste completely. Once dry, the leafy flourish die is used to die cut and the Embossing folder is used to add embossed detail. The card is finished off with stamped & die cut sentiments from the Very best wishes stamp & die set. This set is used for the sentinents for all of the cards.

The excess paste with glitter was spread on pieces of Hammermill cardstock and left to dry completely. These pieces are used as backgrounds and to die cut the Wishes sentiment. For the second 2 cards, the Summer sky, Blossom and Lilac gel pastes were mixed with mica powder to add a pearly shine before spreading that paste onto pieces of Hammermill cardstock and set aside to dry.

The Second card uses one of the Glitter paste backgrounds created with the excess. The floral silhouette is from the Layered wildflowers die set. It is die cut in black and assembled to add to the front of the card for a focal point without covering up too much of the background.

The third card uses one of the Pearlized Neon gel paste backgrounds with another Layered wildflower die cut for a simple but elegant card.

The fourth card uses another of those Pearlized Neon backgrounds with the Alphabet soup Embossing folder. The blackout techniques was used with a black stazon pad to really make the pearlized letters pop!
