The first card is created with a Shadowbox card base. To create that base, two pieces of RAindrop cardstock are cut to 5 1/2″ x 6 1/4″. Thos pieces are scored at 1/2″ & 1″ on the short side of both pieces. The perfect Touch frame die set were used to create the window in the front of the card. The landscape die set is used with Masking magic sheets to create masks to ink blend the front and inside of the card with distress inks. The Hay there, Spring chicken and Honk Honk die sets are used with cardstock & velvet adhesive cardstock to create the cow, geese, chicken & chicks. The completed animals are added to the card. The Farm sweet Farm sentiment is create from the Farm Sweet Farm Registration betterpress set using the Betterpress system and added to the front of the card.
The second card is created using the Ham it up Die & stamp set. It also uses Arch shaker domes to create a fun & easy shaker element on the card front. The Essential Arches die set was used to create the opening in the front mat as well as the frame around the shaker dome. The background and front mat were ink blended with Frayed burlap ink and the Sentiment is stamped on the front using Chipped Sapphire distress ink with the help of the Misti.
The third card uses an easy to create pop out card base created with Cosmic sky cardstock. The Cosmic sky cardstock is cut to 7 1/4″ x 5 1/2 “. It is scored at 1 1/2″ & 2 1/4″ on both short sides. That background is inked with Chipped Sapphire distress ink before being splattered with Gold watercolor from the Watercolor mixing set. Gold die cut stars are also added to the sky. A sentiment from the set is stamped and embossed with white embossing powder on the front centre of the card. To add an area for a message, I added a piece of 4″ x 5 1/4” Raindrop cardstock to the back one side of the card base so it could still easily flatten to fit into an A2 envelope.
