Today I’m creating a Monster Birthday Card using the Monster Love pop die set. I love the Pop-up Monsters that this Large die of the Month set from Spellbinders is supposed to create but thought it would also be fun to use the monsters without the base and create a Birthday card where the monsters pop up and wobble using action wobblers. Visual Supply List below.
The monsters for this card were creaqted using the Monster love pop die set. They were cut out of velvet cardstock for a little extra texture. Glossy accents were added to the eyes for shine and dimension but you could also use googly eyes for a unique look as well. The slimline Card base is 8 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ The background of the card is ink blended with Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet and Tumbled Glass distress ink. Happy Birthday and a sentiment inside the card are from the Confetti Wishes stamp set. These sentiments are heat embossed with gold embossing powder. The front 3 monsters are added to the card using Action wobblers so they flatten to fit into an envelope and pop up and wobble when removed from the envelope.
