Today, I’m creating a Pop-up Snowglobe Ornament using Spellbinders Large die of the Month for December 2024. The base of the pop-up Snowglobe is from the Large die of the month, the rest of the dies used are from Simon Hurleys Timeless trees collection but you can use it with So many different dies to create unique pop-up creations. I also create a simple, coordinating card to tuck the ornament into. Ad

The pop-up Snow globe ornament uses the Monster Love pop die set to create the base. This is the December Large die of the Month for Spellbinders. To create the pieces for the upper part of the snowglobe, Mantle Village, Mantle Decorations, Whimsical Bottle brush trees and Everlasting circles were used. The Everlasting Circles die set were used to cut acetate for the snowglobe look and Splatter white was used to create a snowy look to the snowglobe. The pieces for the base of the ornament were ink blended with Walnut Stain distress ink to create a vintage look.
The same die cuts used for the pop-up ornament were used to create a coordinating card to tuck the flat un-popped up ornament to send. The background of the card was ink blended with Tumbled glass distress ink and a sentiment was stamped from the Season of Wonder stamp set using Lumberjack plaid distress ink and a Misti. The die cuts from both the card and pop-up ornament were accented with Red and Star dust stickles before assemble for a little extra sparkle.
