All of the cards in this video use the Poppy background press plate in different ways. The poppy centres on most of the cards were finished with Moondust stickles glitter gel for added sparkle and texture.
The first card used the background press plate with the Glimmer Hot foil system to foil with Matte silver glimmer foil on Hammermill cardstock. The coordinating Layering stencil was then used to colour the image in Interference ink pads in Cherry Bomb, Summer Garden and Regal Grey. The card was finished off with a stamped sentiment from the Typewriter Adventure sentiments set stamped with the Cherry Bomb interference pad using the Misti.
The second and third card use the negative foiled images from cards 1 and 4 using a Solid Hot foil plate. Regal Grey interference ink was blended on the background. The Both cards are finished with Betterpress sentiments embossed with Silver Embossing powder. The sentiment on the second card is from the Sending Joy sentiments set and the one on the Third card is from the You are Everything Sentiments set.
The Poppy Press plate was foiled in Opaque black foil on clear Duralar. Alcohol inks in Cosmopolitan, Brick, Juniper and Wilderness were used on the back of the Duralar. Once finished, Sookwang tape is used on the back of the Alcohol ink piece to glue it to white cardstock. The card is finished with a sentiment from the You are Everything sentiments set foiled in Prism Glimmer foil.
The fifth card uses the Poppy Background press plate with Versamark ink in the Betterpress system. It is then Embossed with black embossing powder and coloured with Autumn Leaves magicals pigment powders. It is finished with a You are Everything Sentiment embossed with Silver EP.
The last card uses the background press plate without ink to simply add texture to the background. The Yanas poppy die set was used with Matte silver cardstock and also to diecut a Magical bakground. The poppy was paper pieced with silver on the outside and the magicals coloured pieces inserted and glued onto vellum before adding to the card. The You are everything sentiment for this card was foiled with prism foil.
