Envelope Pouch Cards

Envelope Pouch Cards

Today, I’m creating Envelope pouch cards using the Not your Ordinary Card Collection from Spellbinders and Wendy Vecchi. This collection is a unique collection of base dies and add-on die sets perfect for a variety of Holidays as well as an amazing Build a Plaid stencil set that allows you to create an endless variety of plaid backgrounds. The pouch Envelope cards I’m creating in this video were all created using the Essential Envelope die set as well as the Pinking Edge birthday add-ons die set for the card bases.

The first Envelope pouch uses the floral dies from the Essential Envelope die set die cut from White cardstock and ink blended with a variety of Distress ink colours. The flowers were splattered with Fossilized Amber Distress spritz and the front of the Envelope is Heat embossed with Gold Embossing powder before assembly.

The Second Envelope is Halloween theme using the Halloween Add-on die set. The Spiderweb is die cut from Glitter cardstock from the Silver treasured cardstock pack and the spider is cut from Velvet adhesive cardstock. The background of the envelope is Hot foiled with the glimmer machine and Silver facet glimmer foil using the Spiderweb background press plate and then ink blended with Carved pumpkin distress ink before stamping the background and insert.

The first Christmas Envelope uses the Build-a-plaid stencil as well as the Halloween Add-on die set to create the Trees and the Christmas Add-on die set for the stamped detail on the Trees.

The last Envelope is Christmas themed as well and uses the Christmas Add-on die set for the die cuts as well as the Merry Christmas stamp which is stamped using Lumberjack plaid distress ink before being die cut. The gold cardstock is from the Treasured Gold cardstock pack.
