Today, I’m making an Interactive Dancing in the Rain Card using the New Out & About Scout Collection from Spellbinders. The first card will be created the way the die set was intended to be put together with a swinging or dancing motion to it. For the second card, I’ll change it up and create a different interactive element for the card and create a spin mechanism for the Umbrella! Ad
I love interactive cards! For both cards, I used the Raindrops stencil for the backgound. The first background uses Transparent gloss texture paste through the stencil on white cardstock and the Second background uses Moon dust stickles glitter gel on a pale blue background. The first background was ink blended with different colours of distress ink to really make the raindrops pop and the second one was just lightly ink blended around the edges with Chipped Sapphire distress ink just to add a frame around the edges.
The First card uses the Dancing in the rain die set as intended with several different colours of Spellbinders Cardstock to create the swinging feature with the legs. For the Second card, I changed it up and glued the legs down flat bit created a spin mechanism for the Umbrella.
