In this video I’m using the House Mouse Flower Shower stamp set to create a simple watercolour card with a shaped card base. Using dies to create shaped card bases is really simple but a great way to add interest and change up your card making. Ad
I love how much detail the image in the House Mouse Flowers Shower stamp set has as well as the fact that it includes several co-ordinating sentiments. The Image for this card was stamped with Versamark ink and Embossed with Black Embossing powder before being watercoloured with Distress ink Refills and Distress watercolor pencils on Watercolor cardstock. The image was finished off with a dot of Glossy accents on the open eye for some shine and dimension. Once dry, the image, coordinating purple cardstock and the Card base were die cut with different sized dies from the Mirrored Arch labels die set using the Spellbinders platinum 6 machine. The card was finished off with one of the sentiments from the stamp set stamped in Distress ink using the Misti and then die cut with a die from the Propagation sentiments set.
