Today, I’m using 1 Stamp set to create 3 Interactive cards. I’m using the Smokin’ Hot Heroes stamp set fom Pajama Crafter Stamps. These cards are adorable and the interactive elements take them to the next level and give them a bit of “Wow” factor! Ad
Visual Supply list below.
The images for the 3 cards below were stamped from the Smokin’ Hot Heroes stamp set. I used Black memento ink on Hammermill cardstock before colouring with copic markers and addink Glossy accents on the Firetruck windows and Firefighter Hats. The images were fussy cut once the Glossy accents had completely dried.
The first card uses a curved die from the Trinity Stamps Slide & Spin set along with two Snap ‘n Spins to create a channel for the firetruck to slide in. The background is lightly ink blended before assembing the card with thick foam tape and a black matte.

The second card is created using twinkle lights for the firetruck lights. The windows were cut out with an exacto knife and window sheets were glued behind to add the gloss. White cardstock is added behind the windows to hide the twinkle lights wires. Mirror card is stamped with stazon and then fussy cut and added to the firetruck for the chrome accents. The firetruck door is stamped with “push me” so the recipient knows where to press to activate the lights. The background is ink blended simply and the firetruck is added to the front of the card using thick foam to accomodate the twinkle lights battery pack.
The last card uses dura-lar coloured with cloudy blue alcohol ink to create the water coming from the hose. It is cut out to create the look of water. It is then glued to the end of the hose. A mechanism is created using the rounded strip die and small circle die from the Slide & Spin die set. The circle die is cut 6 times and stacked at the end of the rounded strip die cut. The flames are cur from coloured vellum using the camp day die set. The circle die from the like to move it die set is used to create a hole in the card front to attach the hose end to be able to move where the water is “spraying” the card front is attached to the base with foam tape.
